- the Aims and Objectives of the LSS 2011

 

1. To significantly improve the cross-organizational communication amongst youth NGOs in Europe

2. To equip participants with the skills that are necessary to successfully lead both international projects and teams

And by that we understand: 

2.1 To grasp and live their own understanding of leadership

2.2 To manage organizations, thus to be able to develop strategies in the areas of project planning and the incorporation of organizational change (change management)

2.3 To manage groups, thus to be able to facilitate the formation of high performing teams and to create synergy by making use of the different personalities of my team members

2.4 To manage themselves, thus to use tools from coaching, personal goal setting and time management to realize better what participants truly pursue, why they do so and how they can make better use of their time to reach it.

3. To make participants develop their inner leadership potential 

And by that we understand: 

3.1 To develop an attitude of making both themselves and others grow

3.2 To challenge participants to cope better in leadership situations

3.3 To empower participants to successfully master their own development
